Nina Unveils the Truth About Sasha’s Pregnancy in Latest Hospital Drama

On today’s General Hospital recap:

Welcome to the 2025 Nurse's Ball... way later that night!

Gio begins to leave but becomes furious when Dante intervenes. Brook Lynn advises him not to hold Dante responsible, as he wasn’t aware of her pregnancy. Demanding explanations, Gio confronts her, and she reveals details regarding childbirth and relinquishing custody. Gio accuses her of having wanted nothing to do with him and forgetting about him entirely. He questions whether she ever tried finding him, yet she admits that she did not wish to disrupt his life. After storming off, Tracy urges Brook Lynn to allow Gio to depart.

Dante becomes furious with Brook Lynn, so Tracy chooses to let them handle it themselves. She reminds them that they have only recently discovered they have a child together. Dante wonders why Brook Lynn kept this from him, but she explains that they were merely teenagers caught up in a brief summer fling. She admits she didn’t want to complicate his life but acknowledges that she deprived him of having a say in the matter.

Dante mentions that she has been deceiving him for 22 years, yet she states that she took necessary actions at the time. Dante expresses that he would have taken responsibility if he had known about it earlier but wonders why she didn’t inform him previously. Brook Lynn asserts that her sole option back then was to conceal everything and probably wouldn't have disclosed this information to him otherwise.

Brook Lynn mentioned that she had no clue it was Gio despite them residing under the same roof. When Dante questions whether anyone besides Lois and Gloria was aware of the situation, Chase shows up just then. It dawns on Dante that Chase must've known about the baby but chose not to mention it. Brook Lynn adds that Dante likely would have embarked on a search for the kid, disrupting their own life significantly.

Former General Hospital (GH) Recap: Brook Lynn Explodes on Lois Regarding Gio's Adoption

Tracy goes back to inform Dante not to be upset with Brook Lynn but rather with Lois, as she was the driving force behind everything. Dante questions how Gio found out about this when apparently nobody else knew.

Emma brings Gio to the bridge to assist him in figuring out his next steps. Gio shares with Emma that he overheard Lulu and Lois talking about him. He mentions feeling distressed upon seeing the entire crowd and questioning whether everybody was aware of everything. Emma then inquires about why he broke the violin.

Drew instructs Mac to arrest Jason, yet Mac requests more information. Willow then informs him regarding Michael’s arrival. Mac notes that the children are with their dad, suggesting it doesn’t qualify as abduction. Nonetheless, Drew maintains that Jason was unjustified in taking Amelia.

When Carly and Josslyn arrive back home, they're joyfully greeted by Michael. Puzzled, Carly asks Michael why he chose this moment to come back. He explains that after speaking with Diane, she informed him of the upcoming custody hearing which prompted his decision to return. Later, Mac stops by to talk through what transpired with Amelia.

Mac goes back to the station and informs Drew and Willow that Michael has obtained an emergency court order for immediate custody until the formal hearing takes place.

Carly expresses to Michael how happy she is that he has returned since the children require his presence. When asked about the hearing, she regrets having overreached. However, Michael assures her that she acted appropriately. Subsequently, Willow arrives at Carly’s place and pleads with Michael not to deprive her of her children.

Ned has just one query for Lois: Why didn’t she share this information with him? It’s hard for him to fathom that she withheld such an important detail from him, potentially jeopardizing their connection. He believed his bond with Brook Lynn was strong, yet Lois admitted feeling ashamed about becoming pregnant. According to Lois, she acted in what she deemed as Brook Lynn’s best interest. However, Ned argued that he would have backed whatever choice she made, but Lois countered that the Qs might have intervened and claimed custody of the child.

Ned inquires whether she gave the baby to Carmella, and Lois mentions that Gio has grown up, adding that she was present just in case anything happened. Ned expresses that he had been cohabiting with Gio for more than a year without knowing they were his grandson. Lois admits she believed she made the correct choice, but Ned feels it wasn’t fair. At this moment, Olivia arrives.

Olivia mentions that they have been inseparable since their early days and feels bewildered about the situation. Lois counters this by stating that Olivia wouldn’t comprehend unless she finds herself in similar circumstances. Lois adds that Brook Lynn and Gio always came first for her. In response, Olivia asserts that she acted based on self-preservation; however, Lois retorts by reminding her of not informing Sonny regarding Dante’s paternity. Olivia defends herself by explaining that her intention was to shield Dante from potential threats posed by Sonny’s adversaries. Lois then points out that Gio spent his formative years surrounded by community and benefited from having a loving parent. To which Olivia admits that she allowed Gio to grow believing he was without parents despite them being present all along.

Lois mentions that Brook Lynn isn’t prepared to take on parenthood, yet Olivia argues that nobody truly feels they are. Lois points out all the things Olivia has forgone, stating that neither she nor Brook Lynn wanted this outcome for her. In response, Olivia claims she hasn’t sacrificed anything and now wishes to sever their friendship ties completely.

Sonny approaches Lois and tells her that he could have provided assistance. Lois mentions that when Brook Lynn became pregnant, nobody knew that Dante was actually Sonny’s child at the time. When Sonny questions what happened with Camilla, Lois states that this was also around the same time the truth regarding Dante surfaced, adding that Sonny had many things weighing heavily on him during that period.

Lois mentions that Gio and Camilla shared a special bond, and she didn’t want to interfere with that. According to her, the original secrecy was meant to shield both Brook Lynn and Gio. Sonny points out that when Lois asked him to cover Gio’s education expenses, it allowed him to play a role in his grandson’s upbringing unknowingly. He expresses gratitude for her efforts. Lois becomes emotional as she reveals that Brook Lynn and Olivia are upset with her, causing her to feel estranged from them.

Nina calls Maxie to provide an update on Michael’s homecoming and his current situation involving both children. She mentions that for Willow to gain custody, she would need to break up with Drew; however, Maxie doubts Willow can handle this. Nina suggests revealing her affair with Drew as a potential solution, though she fears Willow may never reconcile with her over it. Maxie empathizes with Nina's reluctance to risk her relationship and concurs that keeping silent at present seems best.

Maxie and Nina talk about Michael, Sasha, and Jason’s situation. They mention that Sasha had sex with Jason and is now carrying his baby, though they aren't officially a couple. Nina suddenly realizes something and asks which specific evening this occurred. Maxie informs her that it was the night prior to Halloween.

Nina discusses that evening with the bartender, showing him a photograph of Sasha and asking if he recalls her. He confirms his memory of Sasha as well as a man she was accompanied by. When Nina presents a picture of Jason, the bartender acknowledges knowing Jason but denies involvement in the incident. Finally, when shown a photo of Michael, the bartender identifies him correctly.
